The Environmental Working Group (EWG) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to helping consumers live their healthiest life. Through research they have produced a list of fruits and vegetables that are in the following categories.
EWG’s Dirty Dozen
All these need to be organic because of high pesticide absorption.
EWG’s Clean 15
These do not have to be organic because of minimal pesticide absorption.
