We ran across the term “essential” in earlier lessons. By now we know that means in the context of nutrition that humans cannot produce it so it must come from the diet- food or supplements. These 13 essential vitamins.  They are: A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B8, B9, B12, C, D, E and K.
