
We have already established that we are tripartite beings: spiritual beings with a soul that live in a physical body. Our failure to acknowledge this has often resulted in non-sustainable and incomplete treatment of many issues that may manifest physically but have spiritual or mental roots. Unforgiveness and the often accompanying bitterness are what we will address in this lesson.
I will never forget a story I heard that was told by a minister a few years ago at my younger sister’s wedding. “A woman was bitten by a venomous snake in the wilderness. Instead of seeking medical help she spent the last few hours of her life in a vengeful search for the snake. She eventually found and killed one that she thought was the offender only to fall over and die herself a few minutes afterwards”. There are so many lessons in this simple story:
