A Higher Place

Like Mephibosheth we're called to a higher place
To dine at the King's table in His palace
To cease looking at situations with human eyes
To reject all false perceptions and self-comforting lies.

Like Abraham we must leave Ur behind
To walk with our Father all the time
To be ok with sojourning without certainty 
Other than knowing we walk with One who loves us dearly.

Like Enoch we must now walk with our Father
We must function from a realm that is higher
We will walk with Him until we are taken.
Never to return to a life where we can be shaken.

Like Christ our example we live in perfect peace
In the midst of the storm we are at ease
We exercise the authority of our elder brother.
"What kind of beings are these? many will wonder.

Like the sons we are, we live in victory.
Oneness with our King is our identity
Living in and from rest is our being.
Agreement with Him is our scene.
